Actually, I meant everyone except JaMarcus Russell.

What even happened to him? He just disappeared.

He facing trial on drug charges. He had a tryout with the Redskins but nothing came of it.

Tom Brady wouldn't be where he was without his offensive line that actually protects him. Just sayin.

You can say that of pretty much any quarterback.  It's true that Brady is more of a game manager type of guy, while Favre is a gunslinger, and Brees is just a machine.   But anybody could be a good quarterback if they had al day to throw.  And like I said, if the o-line was the cause of the Vikings woes, AP wouldn't be the beast he is now.

This. And, FWIW, Brady's line isn't even that great. The NE offense just uses a lot more short slants/WR Screens/etc so Brady does not get sacked as much as others because it is hard to sack someone when he only has the ball for 3 or less seconds.

The giants should have beat the eagles. We got the Jags next, gotta win this one. Too bad the Vikes are not in the NFC west.

You mean anyone EXCEPT Travaris Jackson?.. :)

Hey, he got a TD the only game he's played this year.

I disagree. AP is an animal who serves as his own offensive line. Lol He has just as good of a chance of knocking down the defender as the defender has of tackling him. Pair that up with his great speed and agility, and he's great. He'd be #1 by far if he had a great line, but he's not #2 because his line is great.

It's not in spite of a bad offensive line, either.  He can run over one guy but not six.

Who says he has to run over six guys? He could try a few evasive maneuvers a la Barry Sanders.

People seem to forget that Sanders made a career of making the right move at the right time.  Everyone game planned against him because you couldn't let him get open field one time.

A lot of his play-by-play stats would look like: 2 yds, 1 yd, 2 yds, -1 yd, 3 yds, 0 yds, 2 yds, 75yd TD.

Believe me. TJack would throw alot more then 17. There isn't a single Defensive Coordinator that considers him a passing threat.

No. Now that Childress is gone TJack will go too. There no reason to hold on to him when we have Joe Webb.

Maybe, maybe not. TJack's career has been one of being conservative. The knock on him has always been that he can't adjust quickly enough when defenses do crazy stuff to throw him off. However, because of this, he's way less likely to take chances than Favre (since he has no clue where he could even take a chance) and because of his mobility, he's less likely to take sacks as well.

What I do know for sure is that every time the Vikings give up a first down because the other team's quarterback has halfway decent speed and can simply run when our pass coverage holds up, I shake my head and wish we had the same luxury...

If I looked up the stats on how many times a QB has run for a first down against the Vikes, and how many time Favre has run for a first down, I bet it would be something like 15 to 1.

He'd get more if they'd let him take his scooter on the field.

I agree. When Vick was released from prison I immediately said the Vikes should go after him.. And now look where he is.

Joe Webb is fast, more accurate than TJack, and sharp. IMO Webb > Jackson
