Does anyone have a copy or know where I can buy a copy of "The Place Promised in Our Early Days?" It's seriously the best movie I've ever seen and I'd absolutely LOVE to own a copy.
*EDIT* Also, feel free to use this thread to discuss how bloody amazing this movie is.

It's listed on Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Place-Promised-Our-Early-Days/dp/B0009PLMAS) for $27. Blockbuster has it for $19 (http://www.blockbuster.com/stores/catalog/movieDetails/265234).
It looks like the US distributor is doing some "restructuring," so that may be why it's not easier to find.

I thought people liked talking about what they really liked. I'll talk your ear off about Dr. Who.
Also, it's easier to avoid spoilers.

Ok, the art is absolutely fantastic. The first half hour of the movie was punctuated by gasps at the visuals every minute or so (they didn't get any less stunning later, we just stopped gasping). There are incredibly poignant lines (life-changingly so imo) throughout the movie, and the plot has enough turns to keep it from ever being stale. It's essentially a love story, but there's cool action and the love story is bafflingly not lame and girly. The music in it is also superb, and it ties the whole thing together. I couldn't recommend it any more highly.

Wow, sounds like I'll have to watch it.
