Friday I'll announce the rotation. How it will work is when your turn comes up you'll have 3 days to write your piece and send it to me. I'll post it on a dedicated thread. Once it's posted, the next person has three days and so on and so on.
I'll be editing as well, but please at least try. If I get a block of text that looks like someone with ADD threw up on a keyboard, I'll ask you to edit it yourself.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

Ok, registration is closed. I ran a randomizer and here is the rotation:

The Spy
RR
Myself
White Wolf
Venom Fan
Capitan
Warrior Monk

This means The Spy has until Monday to write the next installment of the story and send it to polariuskarnum@gmail.com

The guidelines for this section:
Introduce a new character and do not continue the Ramstein story arch.

Seven of us... that means that we could work with individual characters, just maybe not all at once. Thanks, by the way. I will see what I want to throw together.

Yes, it's set in the real world in the not-too-distant future. Spy has until the end of today to send it to me for editing, so either the new one will be posted tomorrow or the next person in the rotation will get to go.

A reader would be overwhelmed if every main character were introduced right from the start.

Since we are in different time zones, you may get my story in your following morning. ;) Hope that is OK. I have little prep time, but I will try to do what I can.

and people please don't leave it hanging like and we started our long march twords Chicago........ Cause then it forces the next person to finish your story line. I know no one will do this but just a reminder.

There are books which devote chapters to individual characters. ;) While one character leaves off with a cliff-hanger, the next starts to tell his story.

No, a rotation story allows the person who wrote the cliff-hanger to continue his story when his turn comes back around.

true. but by that do you mean that we build off each others stories at times? i.e. Pol started it, then Spy comes with a new character (lets call it NC), then Pol again, builds off his own char., then RR comes with a NC, then WW builds off Spy's, then NVF creates a NC, and captain builds of RR, and lastly, I would come up with a NC. then Spy would build off someone elses.

that's what your saying, right?

In a nut shell. ;) Many times, in stories where people just keep on dying, minor characters can be introduced in great number. They then rise to the status of the other main characters.

He would not have to steal your character in order to reference him, that would allow him to provide a network that relates to your character but does not manipulate him.

it's all starting to make sense. but the way i put it is different then what Pol said to you, that you would make a New Char. off the story he's started... then does someone else randomly make a NC that lives across the globe? we can't all build off what the person before us did...

btw, i hope your ready to send it in and not wasting your time on here :)

Let me sum this up with one answer. When Pol posts my idea, then we can continue this discussion. I have something in mind, but it will look better if I just write it. ;)
