Kinda seeing this girl who is a missionaries daughter. That being said, she has spent most of her life in the Phillipians. I thought it would be cool if I could tell her something like "you're awesome" or "I think you are cute" in the language of the Phillipians, Tagalog. Does anyone here know it or can help me out?

Just find a translator online or something.
I'm romantic. :-*

Phillipians? Like Paul's letter to the Phillipians?

<--- Filipino.
ReyZen is Filipino as well, as Claude is.
"Mahal kita" - "I love you"

Thanks Reggie, not quite sure I'm ready to say the "L" word yet, in any language. Maybe on our 1 month anniversary I'll be though...

That's still ungodly early in my opinion.

Golgotha is a level 5 clinger ;)

I agree, its still a bit early. As far as me being a clinger...never watched M*A*S*H....naw, just wanted to do something a little sweet/romantic...

just got on a translating website and it translated it as "gusto kita." im not the foremost expert, so you might want to look into it yourself before you accidentally ask her for a bowl of chicken soup or something:)
-
Before you speak the language I think you need to learn how to spell it properly.

Now that's too quick to teach him that, Reggie. :o ::)
Let's begin with quick expressions such as:
Kumusta Ka? (koo-moos-tah-kah) = How are you?
Ingat. (ee-ngaht *ng as in the word 'bring') = Take care.
The country is spelt 'Philippines'.
Godbless!
