Okay, I remember hearing a long time ago at this dinosaur dig site in South Dakota (it may have also been a Kent Hovind dvd) that there was a theory that t-rexes actually had a spirally pattern on their skin, rather than being smooth like most modern recreations of them are. There was at least one picture I remember, an ancient relief or piece of pottery or something that showed what looked a lot like a t-rex but with this strange spiraly patter all over him. I've been trying to find this picture on Google, and I'm having 0 luck. Has anyone else heard this theory before, or is anyone able to find a picture I'm talking about? It's driving me nuts. :P
