I wanted to see what ther people thought about this; from this point in the NFL season, who do you think has the most legitamate shot at winning the next superbowl? Also for fun, do you think Tim Tebow can be a successful NFL quarterback?
-
Saints.
No.
-
Colts.
No. RB maybe, but his mechanics leave much to be desired for.
-
Colts.
He could definitely be a wildcat running back.
-
...will come from this group: Colts, Patriots, Steelers, Ravens, Giants, Saints, Vikings, Cardinals
Tim Tebow will succeed only if allowed to succeed by his team's committment at all levels: ownership, management, coaches and teammates.
-
saints
and yes for the titans

Agreed 100%.

Cardinals??
Cardinals? Really?? A team that has a mediocre defense and an offense that throws 85% of the time. I agree that they have some of the best wrs in the game but they will eventually run into a set of dbs that make it hard on ol Kurt Warner.
Me personally, I am rooting for a Colt and Saints matchup. Being from Knoxville, five minutes from the university of tennessee's campus, I luv me some Peyton Manning, and I want Drew Brees to succeed since he was mistreated with San Diego.

I'm sure if you told any NFL fan besides devoted Cardinals fans last season that the Cardinals would be within one great play of winning the Super Bowl, you would have generated much the same reaction. They proved that you can't count out any NFL team (except a certain one from Michigan) until they're actually out.
As far as who will probably win the Super Bowl, I'd have to say the Colts. Peyton is just too good.

(except certain ones from Michigan, northern Ohio, or Oakland)
fixed

You forgot about that team from DC. If they are even a team at this point.

I'm not a Cardinals fan, but this statement is definitely wrong. The Cardinals have the top run defense in the NFL, (by over 8 yards/gm!) are ranked 8th in points allowed and are 15th in overall yards per game. And it's not like they haven't played good teams as they've played some quality offenses such as the Colts, Giants, Texans and 49ers.
I would not pick them in my top 5-6 teams to make it to the Super Bowl, but I wouldn't have last season either as Prof A pointed out.

Or they'll go against Troy Polamalu... again. Packers I think would also be sure to intercept a few passes against a team that throws so much.
Lambo that was epic. Did you see Frank Caliendo's skit before 1 oclock game a few weeks ago? It was pretty amazing.
"Yeah it seems all the Redskin's receivers are calling in sick, all six of them... but it ain't swine flu, they haven't even touched the pigskin!"
:D
-
CHARGERS.
-
that redskins logo is hilarious!! Where did you get that??
Sorry about that, I guess I was ignorant about the Cards defense, but I still believe that if a team is so one sided on offense, than they will not be as successful as teams that pass and .....RUN the ball.

I found it on another forum.

I'm thinking the Giants are now off the table...

HOW 'BOUT THEM RAVENS!
-
I don't know how about them? They lost to the Bengals and Vikings so I don't think they're a threat. ;)
-
Well they just dominated the broncos who were undefeated... 30-7. ;D
-
Well they just dominated the immensely lucky broncos who were undefeated despite having an average quarterback who is overperforming... 30-7. ;D

Hey Carl deuty,
I think that the Vikings will win the SuperBowl! You know Brett Favre is the best quaterback on the planet! ::)
-
titans will win the wildcard, go to the semi finals and win it and head to the superbowl and win it. cause the tennessee titans are a wildcard team and wildcard teams can if not will be deadly ;D
-
I don't think we have to worry about the Titans this year. ;D
-
Yeah, they're terrible. They weren't that good last year either, but they had an easy schedule.
-
St. Louis Rams
-
Brett Favre is the greatest quaterback to ever play.
Beings anything taught in Science class is always true, 100% of the time, Brett Favre will lead the Vikings to a victory in the Superbowl!
-
I agree that Brett Favre is the greatest and I'm a huge fan... but I must say that if they go to the Superbowl, I think it will be Adrian Peterson that will lead them to victory. He's the #1 running back and has been (or at least top 3) all 3 years he's been in the superbowl; before Brett came along he was the team captain. He wants to win a super bowl because that would be great for him at such a young stage in his career. He is gonna run like he's never run before if he gets to the Superbowl, and Brett Favre is just gonna back him up.
He's a beast.
