Title: Something interesting happened to me today.
Post by: BubbleBoy on August 30, 2011, 02:43:09 PM: I took the Light Rail to Minneapolis this morning, unaware that Obama was in Minnesota, and riding back, I was stopped at the Fort Snelling station, which is near the V.A. area - where I assume now that Obama was giving his speech. There were at least 6 cops surrounding the parking lot, accompanied by a truck full of soldiers with M15's, one of which got out to confront me when I tried to pass. I had to wait there at the station for 10-15 minutes, where I saw the president's entourage run through. Kinda neat. I'm glad I didn't have anything important to do at the time though.

Well, even if you had something going on, at least you'd have a good excuse: "Sorry I'm late, I was stopped by an armed guard with an M15."

I actually just checked the rules and don't see anything about alcohol there (surprisingly). The picture above doesn't seem to be advocating the drinking of alcohol, so I'll leave it for now. However, if there were other posts that were advocating the drinking of alcohol I would probably feel differently. Fair warning :)
