And I was diagnosed with Ephebiphobia. Anyone have any advice? This is really tough beings I'm a teenager.
For those of you who don't know what Ephebiphobia is, just go to http://phobialist.com (http://phobialist.com) and type in Ephebiphobia (ctrl + F for the search option)
NOTE:This isn't serious. It seems most of the people posting here are truly worrying and caring; this wasn't my intention. This was for humorous purposes only. So far only RR got the right reaction :'(

:o Big Word
-
XD Nice, You get over it. I know that sounds mean but being afraid of yourself is bad.
-
That's interesting. One wonders how that develops. Are you early teens? In which case it might have started before you were a teenager and diagnosed now that all your friends are teenagers. If you're late teen...I dunno.

I'm early into my teens (14), but I didn't develop it before. On my 13th birthday I just woke up and was all of a sudden scared of myself. It just took them 23 months to diagnose me... :-\
Its kinda hard to tell on forums, were you being sarcastic, Jake? If not... you should know I'm not being serious...
-
May I ask why your scared of Teens?
-
Argh... my shrink called me again with more test results (I went back in for more tests about an hour ago, he wanted a follow up to see how I was taking the news and handling the situation). He says I also have Phobophobia, and he wants to do more tests.
-
I have Zemmiphobia.
-
Well, thankfully, Jacksonophobia only exists in the category of necrophobia.
-
Also, it doesn't make sense that anti-homosexual behaviour is always labeled as homophobia. For example, gynophobia is different than misogyny.
-
well. look at the bright side. some people never get over their phobias.. but yours has a natural time limit :D
It kind of makes sense that you developed this at this stage of life. Junior High, puberty, fitting in... life can be rough, and teenagers can be intimidating.
Either way, it doesn't sound like fun, i'll be praying for you.
Psalms 55:22, "Cast your burden on the Lord, and He will sustain you..." Constantly renew your mind in the word, and place your worries on the Lord and he has promised to get you through it. :)

I got it too but I never take anything very seriously so you probably didn't notice.

that kind of threw me off, lol.
the diagnosis definitely sounded goofy, but I didn't want to be a jerk if it was actually something bothering you or giving you a hard time... haha
maybe a couple well-placed smiley's in the first line would have gotten the point across that it was a light-hearted post :D
-
I didn't count you (Colin) because your comment was neutral.
-
Dude, that really stinks... oh... wait... :miss:
-
My first reaction was right. I thought this was comical from the title, read it, and decided not to try my luck.
-
You haven't noticed a trend lately with Rawr's posts? ;)
-
I hadn't been trying to.
-
Actually, that was a general statement, not aimed at you in particular.
-
I was afraid at first, cuz I thought you were going to die.
-
Arachibutyrophobia. It's a threat.
-
Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia. It's a bigger threat.

First, that was pretty cool.
Second, this one threatens to end the human race. Caligynephobia.
-
A recent study shows that 94% of married men have some sort of Phobia. 97% of that 94% have the same phobia; Pentheraphobia.
-
A recent study shows that 95% of Rawr's posts are fake.

I dunno, that one's feasible

A recent study reports that 63% of studies are made up.

I think that YMT is part of the 6% lacking a phobia, and doesn't want to accept the fact he is abnormal... ::)
And cam: A recent study shows 68% of people believe that.

I have Schaefphobia.... the fear of being Banhammered. ;)
-
I also have an abnormal fear of the abnormal. For instance, I could swear I was seeing ghosts. Yesterday I thought I saw The Guardian. Just now I thought I saw ProfessorAlstad.
Strange....
-
What if someone had both Triskaidekaphobia and Paraskavedekatriaphobia?
And for giggles, throw phobophobia in there.

Don't worry. I am still alive, and thus ineligible for ghosthood. I've learned that no matter where life takes you, you'll always end up back at the Redemption message boards for something.

Welcome back! ;D
Hopefully your visit in our dimension will not be brief.

Better than having Scotophobia, Photophobia, and Phobophobia!

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself
