Title: Silly question
Post by: SoulSaver on February 13, 2009, 11:36:48 PM
Is there anyway to discard the top 5 cards off the top of your deck in type 1?

Evil Spawn is the best I've got...

and Jephthah. Is there anything else that I'm missing?

set aside jephtah with provsions and then make the black with evil spawn, hoping they will pick your deck. that's the most at once I can think of.  :)

And you want to discard your deck why?

I have a strange feeling we won't be getting an answer to that question.

To kill ls from the top of your deck, why else?

Btw, best combo is this.

Joel (prov) - P demon
Sword of the L
E spawn (1)
die with joel (2)
Block with e spawn if they attack (3)
use joes bro's scheme to do jephtah (4)

I don't know where I got this I dea, but I have been intrigued by it: block with Zeresh + Haman to make a LS the fourth card in the deck, and then next turn after you draw, you can use Jephthah to discard it. ;D

Most i can think of in one turn is...

Provisions on Jephthah, RA, pick your own Huge Egyptian with E Spear on him.

Four in one shot.

Huge Egyptian with Egyptian Spear would not allow discard of lost souls.

Well if I'm not mistaken... the Original Post said nothing about souls, just discarding the top 5 cards.  ;)

1 from Jephtha, 1 from Huge Egyptian, and 1 from Egyptian Spear equals three discards.

What am I missing?

Anyway, I can add two more...

Since Jephthah is red and has initiative, play Sing and Praise to start a side battle. Give your opponent Queen Tahpenes while you take Evil Spawn (D Deck).

That's 5 by my count and 6 by L. Diablo's. ;)

Queen Tahpenes
Her special ability only works while blocking.

Whoops. I was thinking Jephth hit your top two cards for some reason.

You could switch her with Huge Egyptian...but there would be the matter of initiative....

Crud.

Use Jehoram to place Sing and Praise on a Provisioned Jepthah.

Make RA with Jephthah (1) and CTB Queen Tahpenes (2). Activate Sing and Praise and give your opponent Huge Egyptian (3) wearing his spear (4) while you use Evil Spawn (5). Since E Spawn has initiaitive, I play Given over to Egypt as an enhancement (6).

How hard could that possibly be to pull off in a real game?

Not hard, just time consuming.

Somehow I have a feeling that Daniel got a deck idea from Chad, who got it orignally from me. So I'm interested to see how you decide to make it.  :-*
