Are you allowed to request certain expansions when turning your barcodes in for the promotion? Thank you.

Yes, but only from the active soft booster packs: Unlimited (blue), Prophets, Apostles, Patriarchs, Kings, Angel Wars, or Priests.
*** As an aside, does anyone else remember the rumor that Patriarchs were almost ready to be retired?**

I do remember hearing that years ago (back before FooF if I recall). I also remember hearing after FooF came out that their life expectancy increased (since they weren't in FooF), and that perhaps Kings would run out first.
However, I haven't heard anything in years since about either one, so perhaps they'll both go on forever now. Of course these things can happen suddenly (ie. the Chariot of Fire promos running out was a complete surprise to me).

Huh. I would've thought Apostles would be next in line. Did Pats/Kings have a smaller print run?

I think they did.

That's kinda surprising, they're much better than Apostles.

people just hate Haman's Plot.
-
Well, Kirk has 4 million plots, so at least 4 million of each (uncommon) card in patriarchs must have been printed.

A couple Christmases ago, I opened two Apostles packs and got a GoYS in each.

I play it for the Plot

Exactly. Everyone and their duck has a GoYS.

That was back when GoYS was worth a decent bit more. I don't think I even owned one then.

Exactly. Thanks to the advent of TxP and Di, everyone has all the Ap and Pats they can spare. Kings will run out first.

If Cactus keeps spoon-feeding us Apostles and Pats in tins, do you really think Kings will run out first?

Yes. It's called supply and demand. If Kings had a short printing and is not included in TXP/DISC, it is rational to believe players are much more likely to need more Kings cards than Pats or Apostles, and thus tend to purchase more Kings open packs as opposed to Pats or Apostles, causing Kings to potentially run out first.
It's definately very feasible.

Kings are included in the tins as well. When we run tournaments, we have Priests and Kings as prizes. I also sell a lot more Kings as individual packs than anything but Priests. Although the tin sales are pretty much even (yes, there's one less RoA, but the sales of TGT should make up for that), otherwise, Kings sell more.
