Hey guys,
A friend of mine was recently forced to give away her pet rat, and I offered to take him in. He came with a good amount of food, wood shavings, cage, water bottle, etc; which is good for the moment, but I'd like to (in due time) upgrade and get one of the cages that has tubing (ranging from a little to obscene amounts). Would anyone happen to have such a cage (or tubing) that they'd be willing to sell or trade for? I don't have any obscene amounts of money or cards, but I do have some nice, fun, rare ones that I'd be willing to let go, along with some money if the occation calls for it.

People keep pet rats?

I used to have about 20 gerbils, and they had a bunch of tubing in their cages, but I suppose a rat couldn't fit throgh them.
BTW, is it just one rat?

Bro, IM me when you get a chance. I used to foster/keep pet rats and have some advice for you.

Just for clarity, we're talking about rats, not mice?
-
Yes, we're talking about rats. They're actually much more friendly when domesticated than mice, or most rodents. And yeah, there's only one. Could you perhaps give me the measurements of the tubing (circumference mostly)?

I would rather not get my shoes on, find a ladder, trek into the garage, take down the box, grap a measuring tape, (brush all the spiders off me,) take two seconds to measure it, and then undo all that stuff I just said, so you're just going to have to take my word for it that the tubes are too small for a normal sized rat. :)
