My dog ginger we had to put her down today. She was the best dog you could ask for. She was 13.

My condolences to you and your family. I lost my dog of 20 years when I was your age. I have never had another dog since, but I always laugh as I remember her quirks. The memories will always remain.

It's always tough to lose a pet like that, regardless of age.  It's even harder when they have to be put down.
