My all time favorite author died on Saturday. Brian Jacques, who wrote the Tales of Redwall books, as well as some horror novels like The Ribbajack and other novels like the Castaways of the Flying Dutchmen books became a world famous author, writing a ton of novels. I believe the last book he wrote, The Rogue Crew, will still come out in May. Here is some info about his death:http://shelf-life.ew.com/2011/02/07/brian-jacques-redwall-dies-71/ (http://shelf-life.ew.com/2011/02/07/brian-jacques-redwall-dies-71/)
Rest in peace, Mr. Jacques. I hope to see you in Heaven.

WHAAAAAAT.
I haven't read any of his books in a while, but I read them a ton as a kid. I even got to meet him, and totally got owned by him once.
I got to briefly talk to him at a book signing near where I live, and i told him I had been working on my own story for several years, and ended up re-writing it several times. He asked if I had ever considered taking Violin lessons.
R.I.P. dude.
