Title: Pic on computer to Avatar

I have a pic that I took and downloaded to our computer and want it to be my avatar, I have tried multiple way but cannot figure out how. Would anyone on the Boards know how? ( We have a Mac).

Step 1: make an account on flickr or photo bucket
Step 2: upload your pic
Step 3: get the image URL
Step 4: enter it into your profile
