Title: NFL Draft
Post by: Lozo777 on April 23, 2010, 01:10:43 AM
Well.. The first round is over. What are your thoughts so far?

I think the Vikes made an awful mistake trading their 1st round pick.

Why?  They are pretty much set and anything they could get they can still get in the 2nd round.

I am amazed that Denver took Tebow at 25.  Above Claussen AND McCoy... That was probably the most amazing pick.  than and everyone is grading the jags pick as a total fail.

How many games do the Rams win with Bradford?

The Lions improved by two games by picking Stafford. So I'd say the Rams go 3-13 next season.

The team that takes Colt McCoy is going to make sorry everyone that passed on him before.  He's everything that Vince Young was, only not going to flame out after just a couple years in the pros.

Disagree. For one, Young hasn't "flamed out". He has been quite successful both before and after his benching (which was entirely due to Collins' playing lights out after Young's injury). Also, McCoy is not nearly the runner that Young is. He's not bad. But he won't touch Young's caliber.

Not that he'll fall that far, or that Dallas is looking for a QB right now, but it's almost as if Colt McCoy was born to be a Cowboy.

I would have guessed that he was born to be a Colt.  ;)

Meh, he's washed up. Couldn't even go 16-0 OR win the Super Bowl last year...

I'm glad to see that Tebow was drafted in the first round. I think that by drafting him and Eric Decker (who I've spent the last four years watching here at the U of M) the Broncos have become one of my new favorite teams.
