New Set 2010?
« on: May 22, 2010, 08:02:54 PM »

I was wandering on Wikipedia one day, and I looked at the Redemption article. It said that the new set is called The Disciples. Is there anything to confirm this? And where's the new set info? (I hope the game's not being discontinued.)

Definition correct.

But spelling also proves how bad our school system is.

He also didn't state that Europe was a continent. He stated that it was out of country. Proves how bad our school system is not teaching simple grammar. Or spelling.

And that's just spelling.  Your grammar is even worse.  Good Samaritan was wondering if Redemption was known outside of OUR country, in places such as Europe or Africa.

GS, all I know is that we've got cards in Greek.  Good enough for you?

Perfect ;).  I was thinking that missionaries could spread the word of Christ through and by the help of the card game Redemption.

I don't know how difficult it would be to translate.  One potential problem I could see is with the Verses.  KJV (which is what we use) is the only translation that's in the public domain.  If we were to start using LOTE translations, we'd have to pay royalties.

bahahahaha, typical Red. Did I spell my first word right?
Anyway Redemption was in Canada, a part of Africa I think b/c Darcy Abbot brought it there, and I am not sure about Europe.

I know the game is doing well, but I think it might not be here much longer because of the economy, and the fact that they have done almost EVERYTHING in the Bible that could be translated into the card game.

Lampy lampy lampy... I'm disappointed. One the game should be around a while due to it still selling just fine and new sets coming out each year. But your second point is the most ignorant, dumbfounded statement I have ever heard. You honestly have not read much of the Bible because there is YEARS of sets to come out that have yet to be touched on in Redemption, and if you ask any good player they will agree. There is PLENTY of gameplay left.

This whole discussion shows how bad our educational systems are when it seems that you guys failed to realize that both Europe and Africa are continents.  Tsk, tsk... So many grammar, geographical, spelling, and punctuation errors.

It comes in little boxes similar to Thesaurus ex Preteritus.

The set contains over 105 cards, but fewer than 120.

Each brigade gets new cards.
