visit www.southfloridaredemption.webs.com (http://www.southfloridaredemption.webs.com)
The site contains videos, pictures, webzine, tournament coverage, interviews, articles, resources, and many more things to come. It's by far the most interactive, best looking, high tech, non-commerical redemption centered website.

BTW, you might also want to check out mine, redemptionSpace (http://redemptionspace.wordpress.com/). Its getting a bit popular, so if you have a min, feel free to check it out!

100+ card decks are winning in T1 MP? Whaaaaaat?
-
Personally, I don't think they're viable. I wish I could get someone like that for our tournaments.
-
That's where I found it, great reporting by the way. Personally, I don't think they're viable. I wish I could get someone like that for our tournaments.
Yeah, I'm sorry I forgot that that was the context of this thread...duh!! I was adding links to the links tab of our Redemption websites so my mind was on auto pilot. I removed my brain-less post, haha.

what do you mean? someone who makes the webzine?
-
Yeah, to report and give back to the community. I tried to do that last year, but a full course load took precedence.

Well, since the rules for T1 & T2 deck building overlap quite nicely right around 100 cards, you get twice the ammo in T1 with roughly the same odds of drawing what you need... Thought you CM'd that pesky hero? Think again. You send your best guys out first few turns and they get slaughtered, no sweat, the second copy shows up a round or two later. I haven't built one myself, but I'm usually harder to convince. Now that I've seen them in play, they can be quite... challenging.

Just need that SoG to win? Too bad it's buried under more cards than your opponent brought to the table.

Yeah, technically you're right but playing against a deck with as much card draw and search as Baby Pee did... you'd draw the SoG & NJ real soon.

Priest's main speed is the set asides, all of which are multicolor. How'd he get past that limitation? Babs aren't that good either, horses help some, and Nebby accelerates that, but I'm still floored that they won at state level.

There's so much searching for discarded enhancements, combinations of capture/discard, works well with sites, and since you have twice the cards, it can get excruciatingly annoying. In the hands of someone who knows how to manipulate them, Babs appear surprisingly under appreciated.

Remember the deck is Purple & Teal. Most the acceleration comes from purple: Pentecost, Prosperity, Reach of Desperation and Great Faith. Not much for Teal, Eli's Sound Advice is awesome, Azariah the High Priest bands to King Hezekiah and draws a card. Crimson brings Swift Horses & Dream to the table for card draw.
What seems to make the deck so fast is card draw AND search. King Solomon, Eli, Ethiopian Treasurer & Nebby all search as well. So mid game the 105 card decks looks like a type one deck.
