Can we stop getting ambiguous teases about the new cards. The anticipation is giving me bodily pain... jk, but for real you're messing with my emotions lol.

Can we stop getting ambiguous teases about the new cards. The anticipation is giving me bodily pain... jk, but for real you're messing with my emotions lol.
The play testers have really had their head in the clouds this year. So I would be lion if I told you we were far enough along to give any real teasers "Today". When we're close enough that the cards are set in stoned I'm sure you'll be flooded with spoilers. But have faith and don't be provoked by any "ambiguous teases" you think you've seen.
In all seriousness, real spoilers about the new cards never used to come out until late June or early July. Last year we were able to start as early as May. Hopefully you can expect the same this year.
There may or may not be 7 ambiguous teasers in the first paragraph.

All the late nights of testing and going over the set list have forced me to make coffee...like this guy. He "makes" it so well.

Man, with the prophets packs being retired this year and reading some of these hints is making me think that the new set has to do with Isaiah and others prophets... hmmm

It's likely that the set will have prophets (there are many of them in the Bible) but I highly doubt Isaiah will be among them himself given he just had a reprint in 2011's set.

True for the character maybe, but the book itself is huge. 66 chapters can produce a lot of content plus the other major and minor prophets.

I'm probably completely wrong, but the comments so far have made me think (and hope!) there might be some Exodus cards in the new set. Several references to cows (Golden Calf reprint maybe? or a reference to the plague that killed livestock), stoned and lawless comments could refer to the Tables of the Law and related things (as wyatt_marcum suggested), since Gabe (I think) already confirmed the focus isn't Genesis then the flooded reference makes me think the Red Sea and flooding the Egyptian army, and Exodus has the potential for cards from a lot of brigades (even teal!).
Other than Aaron from Disciples and some cards in Priests, Exodus hasn't really had much other than early sets and starter deck cards, so there's plenty there ripe for reprint or even just initial printing, too, imo.

They just said it isn't Isaiah himself. but there could very well be many cards from the book. that was neither confirmed nor denied. just not another version of him.

We all know among the play testers that John is an animal when it comes to spoilers. If everyone wants to hunt for clues, then Gabe is their guy and John will be right there to chastise him for it. You know what they say...spare the rod, spoil the child boards. Can't we all just be buds and get along?

Maybe reprints of the (mostly) weak FF/ROA beasts with Daniel references, reprinted with better abilities and Crimson brigade?

Ok, well then I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that the books of Daniel and Esther will be a big part of the new expansion. Persians from both books + mini-Esther theme + animal reprints + more playable Daniel cards maybe?

It seems like you might be implying the The Winged Lion, The Bear, The Winged Leopard, The Terrifying Beast, The Goat with Horn and The Ram with Two Horns from the book of Daniel are animals. They are in fact NOT animals as far as the game is concerned. It really doesn't matter now... but it might someday.

The "animals" in the game are Leviathan, The Serpent, and The Maltese Viper. i feel like there might be one more though... :-\

According to the REG, the only two animals are the leviathan and the maltese serpent and they are both of the crimson brigade.
Maybe they are creating more "animal" type character cards that may be crimson.

I'm hoping we get a Balaam's Donkey card. That would be awesome.
On a more serious note, I have reason to suspect there will be a reprint of Nebuchadnezzar that will somehow be able to switch between being a Babylonian King and an Ox.
Just my 2 cents.
By the way, if The Serpent isn't a Beast, and it isn't an Animal, and it isn't a Demon, what is it?

Both version of The Serpent (Pa)(Promo) are considered to be an animal. If they are missing from the REG entry it is an oversight.

So, thats super awesome, i made something similar for a unicorn (they are mentioned in job), but Gabe told me that a hero cannot be a hero because an animal cannot rescue a soul in real life. :(

I am sorta coming to the conclusion that the entire card set or parts of it will be based on the book of Revelations. (Although this is just a complete guess of mine)
A Red dragon reprint with orange and crimson brigade would be cool.

No, i'm convinced it is all a trick. i think that gabe put this up to throw us off. the raven is really prominent in this image and there are two doves displayed here as well. and, if you look in the middle of the picture, there is a beam of light shining on a branch... an olive branch perhaps? and what's that on the horizon in the background? It's a BOAT! i think we are going to get a bunch of flood support and more antediluvians. maybe a genesis set? There is no way in my mind that it could be a set based on revelation! it's not like the picture is entitled "st john the evangelist on patmos"! Can't you see! It's all a conspiracy! PM if you want tinfoil hats! ;D

Probably the most exciting potential spoiler breakdown yet. I'm still leaning towards Revelation being a big part of this set but if behemoth is in it then maybe not. Maybe it's the Guardian spoiling his player created card? Exciting stuff regardless.
