Post by: Felix on May 20, 2009, 09:03:25 PM
I'm trying to make a new book, but I need help making the book longer, and with more details. Anyone got ideas?

Such as telling us what the book is about?

Or how in-depth it is supposed to be?

Or what font it is in.

Agreed. Bookman Old Style is nice and big, without looking too suspicious. Courier is pushing it.

I would add orcs; frankly, the more orcs the better.

Also you should add some Elfstones.

Throw in some white gold.

I think a few Drasnian spies would also make the book better.

How about a half dozen or so friendly dragons that allow people to ride them?

Nice reference. Hands up if you recognize the series thats from - almost no one I know has read them.

I am making a book about kids that get sucked into the Medieval Era by playing a game. I have a basic outline of the story and the main characters, but I always end the story in the first chapter. That help any?

1. The kids predict an eclipse and are hailed (or hated) as wizards.
2. The kids learn something from the medievals and the medievals learn something from the kids.
3. Everybody dance.

No offense, but that's kind of a lame theme. Been done a million times.

Is this fantasy medieval? (Dragons, Wizards, magic swords, etc.)
Or real medieval?

No. I'm using real medieval nations. There is no sorcery, magic, wizards, etc. No predicting either. Sorry.
