Title: Need questions for a Land of Redemption article...
Post by: uthminister [BR] on May 30, 2015, 11:47:37 AM
I have been approached a couple times about doing an article for LoR about Three Lions Gaming and the history/present/future of the company. If you have any questions you would like to have included in a Q&A article with me about TLG, please submit questions you would like to have answered in the article. If I use your question, I will give credit for the question to your board name in the article. Go!

What do you get if you multiply six by nine?

African or European?

56.

In seriousness, I am wondering what the mission of TLG is. What is TLG's future look like? Will it continue to be only selling cards. Will TLG start working with CGC and sell packs at Christian stores? Will they start looking to expand to multiple places, and how do they plan to expand Redemption?

I love this company and what it has done for Redemption, and am very thankful for what you and Ken have done, and what you are doing.

56. 42
FTFY

My question is, "What exactly is the symbolism of 3 lions anyway?"

How much did you pay for it?

56. 42
FTFY

My $150 graphing calculator with a Computerized Algebra System says that the answer is 54, and calculators are never wrong (or so my students tell me).

My question is, "What exactly is the symbolism of 3 lions anyway?"

Also, why does his avatar only have one lion?

56. 42 54
FTFY
FTFY for real. If he wanted 42 he should have said multiply six by seven, not nine. :P

On-topic: I'm also curious what the symbolism is behind the 3 Lions. I never thought to ask Ken when he owned it.

He was pulling the letters from a Scrabble bag.

"Six by nine. Forty two."

"That's it. That's all there is."

"I always thought something was fundamentally wrong with the universe"

Do you still have the Doug Grey fun cards (like the larry boy card and the strong bad one)?

I'm glad at least someone else has read enough to get that.  After I had two people "correct" me, I was beginning to lose hope :)

FTR, my calculator corrected you, not me.  ;)

In my defense I have read the entire novel series, but it's been several years, so I didn't remember the reference. :P

I am going to leave this up for a couple more days. I have had a bunch of great questions which have had me really thinking and digging into the past via Doug Gray. There is some really fun stuff that I will be adding to the site with Doug's blessing as easter eggs for you to find.

Will you be selling Christian posters on 3lionsgaming? Will you list pros and cons for beginners starting out why/why not they should use starter decks or build their own decks?

Calculators are only as smart as their owners (that's what my math teacher said).

I always tell my students that they are smarter than their calculator, because they can think and the calculator cannot. The calculator can only do what it is programmed to do, and the answer that it gives is not always what the student wanted.

You're welcome for the questions! :-D
