"I've Got a Feeling" that this thread is provocative.

It's "More than a Feeling." Once Schaef sees this, hi123 will say to himself, "I fought the Law and the Law won." Then the Banhammer comes, and hi123 becomes just "Another Brick in the Wall."

I have "more than a feeling" that insults of Boston won't go over well with some of our players. Locale or band. Especially the band.

The correct answer is "I've got a feeling" that the most annoying song ever is like "fireflies". Cool enough to hook you, but after 5 minutes you realize you are just chasing little bugs.

Yes, they do hinder the development of good music quite a bit. Never been a fan.

I think we should just put on our "Christmas Shoes" and walk away from this thread before things get ugly, that way we get the "Best of Both Worlds". (Sry guys, my kids are 10 and under, hafta watch Disney channel)

Text misinterpretation. He said he had a feeling. I was suggesting that it was more than that. Get a grip.

I felt like you were correcting him at the expense of Boston. I "apologize".

"Hakuna Matata."

The irony is that I lived most of my life 60 miles from Boston (the locale) and used to listen to Boston (the band) all the time when I was younger.  ;)

Why?

I was just rolling with the "Convoy," ....but as a thought: Starting a thread about what annoys you will typically get ugly, since everyone has different tastes. For instance, my self-esteem would be hurt if you started a general thread about what annoys people, since I would likely be in most people's Top 5.   :o

Cool the engines guys... it's been such a long time since I've seen you two argue, so why don't you all just walk on and have a party instead? It's easy guys. As long as we don't look back on this, I think we can make it.

 ;)

To answer the original question, most of the bland music on mainstream radio classifies as the most annoying in my book.

If by annoying, you meant epic, then I agree. The guy is 62 years old, and he has started a national phenomenon. Even Brett Favre sang it in the locker room after today's game.

You Belong with Me by Taylor Swift. I don't like the melody. If it's on, you don't really realize it's on and it gets stuck in your head subliminally.

I'm sorry for you then. Classical music is amazing. I hope your tastes will change a bit so at the very least when you get to humanities you will be able to appreciate it.

it is epic. but it gets stuck in your head... not annoying, I guess. he was a student of MLK and there's a holiday in Atlanta on September 4th for him.

Any song that people think is so funny because they sound like chipmunks! Oh my gosh! And it's just so funny because I've never heard something sound like this and I can't possibly imagine how they can make a song sound like a chipmunk!*

*False, you can do this on itunes.

I think for that, you can just look at the first Panic! at the Disco album...

"The Only Difference Between Martyrdom and Suicide Is Press Coverage"
"London Beckoned Songs About Money Written by Machines"
"There's a Good Reason These Tables Are Numbered Honey, You Just Haven't Thought of It Yet"
etc.

he said titleS not just one sentence from one title. otherwise, "The only thing worse than beating a dead horse is betting on one" would have accomplished this easy. to actually make a sentence without using large ones on the other hand...
"If you believe me", "Let it all out" "Poor Man", "All we have is now".

Relient K for the first 2. Poor Man is Plus1 I think... and the last one is Disciple. $10 please?

That's a terrible sentence though.

Apologize, for we three kings think The Only Difference Between Martyrdom and Suicide Is Press Coverage

The different titles are shown by the differences in fonts.

Wake up dead man, (u2) it's been a long time (New Birth) since you've been gone (Kelly Clarkson or something).

Complex sentence made entirely out of song titles that makes sense. Can has prize?

yes it was, but it was a sentence. yours on the other hand, isn't actually legit song titles, you had to add some words.
"This song's for you, (Tedashii) Nancy Drew (Relient K), Only You (Disciple) Sing Me to Sleep (Showbread)."
do I get points for rhyming?

Keep yourself alive, (Queen) Eleanor Rigby (Beatles)
Come sail away with me, (Styx) Waffle King (Weird Al)
You got to me, (Neil Diamond) Kentucky woman (Neil Diamond)

I think I went too complex, as some of these aren't "legitimate" song titles, so it won't qualify, but just for kicks, here's what my last rendering break resulted in:

Last Summer, My Friends Kept Going Camping In The Valley of the Dying Sun, Where They Sleep Among the Poor Fireflies (They Eat Their Young, You Know...), And I Am Telling You, I Am Not Going This Time, Even If I Could.

Last Summer (Lostprophets), My Friends (Red Hot Chili Peppers) Kept (Eyedea & Abilities) Going Camping (John Denver) In The Valley of the Dying Sun (House of Heroes), Where They Sleep (Jeremy Larson) Among the Poor (Jeremy Riddle) Fireflies (Owl City) (They Eat Their Young (Over Kill), You Know... (Janet Jackson)), And I Am Telling You I Am Not Going (Glee) This Time (Carrie Underwood), Even If I Could (The Mamas and The Papas).
