Flying to Des Moines, IA, in October, and then on to the Quad Cities. Saw that Megabus has a route to and from. I have 2 questions for those of you that have used Megabus:
1. Is it punctual?
2. Which seats/section is best for sleeping?

It's been a couple years since I've used Megabus, and it was only up in the northeast, but I had no issues with them being late in probably a dozen rides. They're not the most comfortable for sleeping, but it can be done. (I don't think there'd be significant difference in where you sit.)

The biggest concern would be the punctuality. I figured the seats would probably all be the same, except maybe a few in key locations that could recline a few degrees. Looks like the difference in ticket prices have to do with getting a view or a table.

Megabus was very punctual! Seats weren't the most comfortable, but you can't beat that price.
