Title: Looking for a new Laptop.

Currently this: Lenovo IdeaPad Y570 0862 (http://shop.lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/controller/e/web/LenovoPortal/en_US/catalog.workflow:item.detail?GroupID=243&Code=086225U&category-id=F41BC8E1656C5F85171FBDB172571912) is the front runner.

Part of the reason for that is that my father gets IBM employee pricing for Lenovo products, so I'm actually getting it even cheaper than what they have listed there.

I don't do a whole lot of interactive stuff, I play a couple of graphic intense games, and would like to be able to watch Netflix, etc.

Should I be looking at something higher range, lower range? Or is this a good choice.

It looks nice but the only thing I would worry about is with a new design alot of old programs and games have a hard time running.
Ex. New laptop couldn't play a few games on it from before like 2002 but some peeps don't play that old of games.
