Post by: crustpope on May 29, 2009, 08:48:01 PM
The new standings have been updated and Prof is tied with the juggernaut that is Nick Archick for FIRST in type 1-2 Player

With my first place at State, I snuck into second in type 1-Multiplayer.

yay for us!

BTW, does anyone know what deck Nick Archick plays?  Because it is KILLING people in the Northeast.

Archick? Not sure. I beat him at Regs last year though. He's pretty good, a shame he didn't get to Nats.

I'm sure he has updated since then. He beat me last year in two different events.  :o

Nick Archick is one of my good friends.  He's is quite good.  I haven't been around much lately (off at college) but last I checked he was using a speed deck with A new Beginning... lots of women... and pretty much enhancement free deck (since then, I'm pretty sure he has added the garden tomb).  Weird deck, but it kinda worked...  I wasn't home while he cleaned up in my place... :(

I wouldn't start worrying about him too much until regionals.  He'll show his true colors there.

BTW, Congrats prof, I dont think I put that in my previous post.

my type 1 multiplayer standing is really wierd because I dont really like to play type 1 multi.  It is always the category that I play because I dont want to play the other thign beign offered.  I am WAY more interested in my Type II categories but so far I am only an "also ran" in those categories, and now Type II is going to get alot Harder here in Ohio b/c of Captain Kirk.   :o

I'll give you a hint. I have only one battle winning enhancement in my deck (which I'm even considering taking out)

Unfortunately I can't make it to nats this year but anyone in the northeast region I hope to see at regionals if I can get some work time off

And you have the right to do so, but my history strikes fear into the heart of my opponents.   ::) :P

Congrats to you guys for the places that your in.  I'm hoping I can move up the charts with better placement at KY states in T1 Multi, which is definitely one of my favorite events.  I am currently in 9th.
