Where it says the number of posts I have, it says leet. What does that mean?

leet is the short version of elite. I'm pretty sure it came from video games. So if someone was good at video games they'd be leet(elite).
leet is 1337 when using numbers. l looks like a 1, the e's look like 3's, and the t somehow looks like a 7.

Put your facebook on leetspeak for a month or two and you will get used to it
I've had mine on Leet Speak for 3 or 4 months, and I still crack up at some of the things it says.

Leet originated within bulletin board systems in the 1980s, where having "elite" status on a bulletin board system (BBS) allowed a user access to file folders, games, and special chat rooms. One theory is that it was developed to defeat text filters created by BBS or Internet Relay Chat system operators for message boards to discourage the discussion of forbidden topics, like cracking and hacking.
