I don't know enough about computers to know what they are talking about. Kind of like spamming a bunch of email boxes? I am truly a noob at computers to understand what exactly happen. I do know that it wasn't a lot of actual users.

Correct. That is why no one can be a forum member until approved by an admin. The admins take a couple of steps of effort to investigate the E-mail address and IP address of a member applicant on these boards. One great tool would be the use forum spam report websites.

Yes, that's one of the things we used for our forum when it was up.
