Was their anything important about this date because it says that 171 people were logged on and this is the most in history?

No, the theory is that it was a time when a bunch of bots (or something like that) hit the system.  I don't know enough about computers to know what they are talking about.  Kind of like spamming a bunch of email boxes?  I am truly a noob at computers to understand what exactly happen.  I do know that it wasn't a lot of actual users.

There are programs (Bots) that register for user-names on forums for the purpose of spamming.  It can be quite a plague because the user-names typically seem like names you'd see from a real person.  They are quite annoying.

Correct.  That is why no one can be a forum member until approved by an admin.  The admins take a couple of steps of effort to investigate the E-mail address and IP address of a member applicant on these boards.  One great tool would be the use forum spam report websites.

Godbless.

Probably a bot. That was the day the iPhone released, and a known issue with the first model was a number of consecutive reloads od pages when connected to certain router models.

Yes, that's one of the things we used for our forum when it was up.
