So I've got some extra money and a full set of TeXT. I know peeps have had some good pulls with TeXT, and was wondering if it would be worth buying a box or so just for the trade value of the cards. With all the rares/ultrarares from the past sets, and the new cards from this set, is it worth the money to get a box or a couple of packs?

not really. the value of all the older ultras found in texp are plummeting. they're far too easy to pull now. as for a secondary value of texp itself, the only cards worth any real resell value are grapes and mayhem, and even those only go for around 10 bux a pop.

He asked about the trade value though, for which I would have to say that TxP is probably anyone's best bet. I mean, you could get two booster packs for more money and all you would get is two rares/ultras and then a bunch of worthless cards. TxP gives you like ten rares/ultra rares and of course two TxP cards. If you're going to buy anything, TxP gives the most bang per buck.

trade, sell, same thing; it all reflects the secondary market. who wants to trade for the ultras found in texp if someone can drop 5 bucks on a pack and get the same thing?
texp itself though, yeah, will carry the most trade value because its new.

Answer: People that have lots of cards to trade and no money.
Answer #2: People that have large playgroups of new players that really want gold-bordered cards, but have no money.
