Adv "starter" decks, poll if you want it

I was just thinking for a closed deck, and there is extremely good people only there, why should they be stumped down? Then i thought of people who are advanced in the game that wanna play closed deck should have the opportunity to try a challenging deck, but works great when done right. Im saying a tough deck, sold like starter decks, hard to control at first, but once the idea is gained, it works great. Im meaning something that is difficult to control, but amazing once done. Think about it.

How does using a regular starter deck limit people? The idea of sealed/booster is to rip down the uneven-ness of player built decks and even the playing field a bit. The new starter decks are pretty well built.
Not quite a ghost...but not quite not.

What im meaning by "stumping" them is going too basic, no challange, and not enough advancement. Im meaning something like a deck you can use in nats, but just a starter deck. What the new starter decks don't have is a lot, and i feel there should be decks that hold every ounce of what it can within 50 cards. Its giving a more challanging deck, and i feel that it would be worth it to have a challange, something for pro's to use so they don't have to stump down to basics.

Starter decks are meant to be able to be used as a starting position for a player to learn the game (and to teach the game), and 'advanced' starter decks are kind of an oxymoron for that reason.  You play Sealed deck as a category to have a more-or-less even starting position, but that doesn't mean that it is any less competitive.  You get to select booster packs to add to your decks, and the better players do end up building better decks on average.  I saw plenty of amazing Sealed games at Nats last year.

Against, very much so.  I'd rather get actual sets, not even more 'starters' when they have such a narrow niche.

I wouldn't be opposed to the idea of "structure decks" (i.e.: more advanced versions of starter decks) but like Redoubter I'd prefer an actual, full set if only one thing can be printed.

I think this is actually a complement to the playtesters... considering the whole point of these starters was to be as simple as possible while still being functional.

I was meaning something like structure decks, but mean't for adv players. Back in another CCG, i enjoyed structure decks, it gave me the basis to build on and advance it as if there was another deck merged with it. Im just looking for the idea of something that is not "starter" but good.

I wanted to decrease the simplicity for more better play. That is the idea. I want it to function differently than a regular starter deck. I want it to be for an adv player for a closed deck, something that feels like a extremely good booster draft deck (in complexity) the idea for this is for a complex deck, for the complex players. Not too complex to where new stuff has to be started, but something where a player can experience as many elements of the game as possible within one deck.
