It was left opened ended because CP is planning on during more books related to the setting and characters. Honestly, I found it a little predictable but I liked the predictability.

I thought Brisingr was really good, how does this compare?

Post by: CJSports on November 15, 2011, 02:56:22 PM: Like katedid loved it until the ending, which I hated with a burning passion because of how stereotypical it was. I guessed almost everything that happened in the book before it even came out. I'm excited for more though it he makes it.

You could tell her wasnt planning on writing this book because there was a lot of stuff crammed in quickly at the end that should have been more detailed. Like I would have cared if it had been another 200 pages to flesh out ending ideas

Before Book 3: PSYCH! IT'S GOING TO HAVE FOUR BOOKS IN THE SERIES!!!
Before Book 4: PSYCH! IT'S GOING TO HAVE FIVE BOOKS IN THE SERIES!!!

Or just an extra large book, but knowing Paolini, he would have just made another book.
