what is type a???
-
If I remember the details correctly, it is a special T1 category at Nationals for kids <11ish with no RNRS points.\
-
That's about right. I think the cut-off age was 12 or 13, but I'm not exactly sure.
-
It is a type of personality. Type A people seem to be less observant and more hyper. Also, impatience causes irritation. Type A people seem to react violently to a seemingly non-important situation.
Hope this helps!

Type A is for those 12 & under with no lifetime RNRS points. Gameplay rules are identical to Type 1.

These guidelines are up to the host's discretion I believe. Sometimes a player who deserves to be able to play in Type A because of young age and lack of experience may have RNRS points from a Sealed deck category that only had 2 participants for example, which wouldn't be a good indicator of that player's current capabilities.
