Okay, I saw a commercial for this and at first I thought it was a joke, but it's actually a real organization! Is it just me, or is this one of the biggest scams ever?

Eh, don't feel stupid. I didn't realize it was for the movie until recently either. This is partially due to the fact that people develop absurd theories about the end of the world all the time, and there are serious websites that are just like that one.
