At 2011, I managed to place 6th in T1-2P. This places me in approximately the 94th percentile. Had I played in T2-Multi instead, I would have won, given that a 94th percentile would be beating 15.04 players, and there were only 16 in the category. Counting myself as the 16th player, I have won Nationals.
Do I get a crown?

T2 players are already top percentage. So in actuality, you're automatically below all of them, giving you closer to a 78%.

Weird....
I just tried to verify your information, but it says you placed 42nd at Natz, which puts you in the 42nd percentile. :o
-
By my math you were in the 62nd percentile, which is a yuppie food stamp above YMT's calculation. ;)
-
Except you didn't play T2 Multi.

2011, T1-2P? 42nd place is Joey Shivers (dunno who that is). I'm Randall Koutnik, 6th place, line 8 on the Excel file.

I'm not sure what file you're looking at, but it looks pretty clear here (http://www.cactusgamedesign.com/message_boards/off-topic/42-29025/).

I appear to have a giant question mark over my head. (and no, you can't get a quest from me).
Yes, the thread is about Hitchhikers and 42, but what relation does it bear to this?
(Other than the fact that I've used the word "bear" in both threads)

Fact. Sean is the best bear. Fact.
