My January sig:
I just got to watch the next National Champs (Carolina Tarheels) play in the promised land (Dean Dome)!
I have to give a shout out to my Carolina Tarheels!!!!
They won the tournament in dominating fashion: all 6 games by double digits (an average of 20.2)!!!
They are now the record holders in quite a few categories!
Most steals in National Championship (NC) game by one player: Lawson, 8
Most points in one half in NC game: 55
Biggest Margin at half time: 21 (I think this is the record)
Most Tournament wins ever: 101
Most Final Fours ever: 18
I'm sure I'm forgetting a few others, but here is the one that we're closing in on:
Most winningest school....I have to double check but I think we are 5 wins away from that one!
Anyway, I had to celebrate on this board for one of the greatest Carolina teams ever! (At least, from the ones I've seen.) It was a fun season, and I got to see them live!!!!! Oh, this finally puts the 2002 season to rest in my mind. What a great season!
