I might actually have to see about getting this blown up and put in my office:

I like the picture and gave you a + 1, but you are fostering mispronunciation of trigonometric functions. It's bad enough that my students say "sin" instead of "sine." :P

Sine divided by tangent = cosine, the abbreviation for which is cos. add in the variable and it's cos b which can be mispronounced cosby
-
Maybe they're pronouncing cosine correctly and Cosby incorrectly.

OK, makes sense. It's been awhile since I've ever needed Trig.

You can go to parties if you know trig?

That is the single funniest math joke I have ever seen.

Of course. ;D
My personal favorite is doing Calculus problems when I am on an airplane. You have a person on each side of you sitting so close that they cannot help but watch what you are doing.
Them: "Wow. That looks really hard. You must be smart."
Me: "They're not hard. They're actually quite fun. I'll trade you some Calculus problems for your smoked almonds."

There's a reason i almost failed trig.
