So I'm going to be a table leader on a retreat. Basically, I get to guide discussions and pick a name for the table. I just wanted to know a couple of things. The Musician and author of Psalms 88, Heman, is pronounced like the muscle bound cartoon, He-man, right? People usually pick names like Daniel, or Paul, I've even heard of someone picking Enoch....thought it might be funny to pick an odd name, but not one that is to hard to say/spell like Zerubabel or Melkizildeck. Yeah names like that would be easy to remember, and set them apart. But so would Heman...I might need a "Plan B" in case they don't let me do this, so if anyone has any sugguestions....

Melkizildeck
Melchizedek ;)
Super Gad is the name of your table.

or (and im not a baseball fan) "The New York Philistine Giants"? hehe, a nice play on words!
I like this one, even if you're supposed to pick a name. Even though the New York Giants are football.......

So, as the date is drawing closer, can anyone tell me anything about Heman? I know he wrote the 88th Psalm, he was a musician as were his kids, he was the son oh Joel, Grandson of Samuel, A korite, anything else? Wikipedia (and Strongs) has his name meaning "Faithful." Wikipedia also says Heman is another name for Moses, but that doesn't appear to be confirmable. I heard that he might have been a leper...
