Not sure where to put this topic, there is no general forum. Do more people use Android devices or Apple devices? I am in the process of writing my own program to keep track of my cards I own instead of a spreadsheet. I might want to share with others if there is a want for it.

I use two Android devices (a tablet and a phone) and I would definitely be interested in such a program. I have no familiarity with programming for Android, but I would possibly be able to provide some assistance with ideas.
-
I use an Android device, and would also use such an application.
-
I hope to soon get an android phone and a tablet. Anything is better than the original Motorola Razr. talk about lag.
-
I think my Kindle runs on Android, and I would also be interested in this.

Apple. If there was a Redemption card app in the app store, I would buy it.

No cell phone at all. Don't even have a landline.

what do you mean by a card app? one to make cards or one to view current cards?
-
Yeah, just one with the entire card database and to create decks and test draws with. Nothing all that fancy-schmancy, just something to view all the cards. I have one for YGO on my iPhone and it works remarkably well.
Never was a fan of the card creator thing, and we're probably lightyears away from having RTS/Live/etc on a mobile device.

You should check out Google Voice. Free calls anywhere, you just can't receive calls.
-
and free texting. I use it on my ipod since I carry that more than my phone now.
-
Can you make free calls with the Google Voice app?

Android. I've been trying to find a way to run the table simulator on it. Thus far I've been unlucky.
-
I would seriously doubt it possible, I haven't really heard on any really good windows emulators for android.
-
They are all extremely limited. As Microsoft plannd, I'm sure. I don't see any Redemption apps available in the marketplace as well.
-
it's not so much that Microsoft planned it that way, it's just that mobile phones aren't meant to run desktop OSs especially along side a mobile OS. Emulators in general aren't that great on mobile phones (I ended up uninstalling all but my PSOne emulator because of the horrible input lag and those are all emulating systems that are much less powerful).

I prefer Android. and an app like this would be amazing.
-
Android all the way. I left apple a few months ago and have never regretted it.

Nothing can beat Apple when it comes to media creating, editing, etc. But the prices are still insane, which is why MicroSoft prospers. Most don't want to pay double for the equivalent system. Last I saw, the guts are still all made in the same places.
