are we able to have a Root Beer keg at Regionals. If so does anyone want to chip in to get one or does anyone have one that they could bring?

Why don't all the folk from NC regional (over 16 discluding me of course because I'm special) come on down to SE regionals we have 0 restrictions and you can bring a bit of "bad" coffee if you want (flashbacks of SE regionals 2008 are already occurring but darn it Colin singing the zelda theme probably won't happen this year :( )
and L4d2 and any CoD and pretty much anything is allowed...so come....please :)
-
We like to play Redemption in NC. With like 70 people, theres plenty of Redemption to go around. With your 2 people at SE regional, you don't have a bunch of options. Teams should be a blast.
-
I would like that if I was able to on my theme Saucer.
-
State (even though I wasn't able to be there) was larger than yours!
and I'd rather have two people and 0 restricition than 70 people and E rated restrictions
-
our State was in a growing playgroup, not the central one. how big was your State?
oh, and we have Type S. you cannot begin to imagine the epicness of Type S.
-
Its okay Ring Wraith. No need to argue. He is from Georgia, right? If so, you need to understand that Georgians are simple creatures that sit around respecting peaches and thinking Atlanta is bigger than New York.
-
peanuts sir....not peaches....peanuts.....
-
now, now, let's not fight. "Like that famous koala once said 'We will fight them with peaches!'" -The Wild
and the reason i wouldn't go to SE Regionals is because NC Regionals is 5 minutes from my house.

Capital idea, young sir. Had I seen this thread earlier (i.e., before I went out and bought sodas for the tournament), I would have most definitely gone down that route. Unfortunately, I think the day of the tournament is a little too late to plan this--but should I ever host another large tournament this is going on my list as suggestion #1.
Sadly, I think you will have to make do with the 3 twelve packs of A&W I bought. I'm pretty sure an older married brother might also be persuaded to drive one of his two favorite younger brothers to the nearby A&W if a need for tapped root beer comes up. If only we knew if such a person would be attending the tournament.

Sadly, that may be true. After having 68 players at MN State last year, attendance was down a bit this year to (what?!?) the mid-forties or so. Heck, we were barely able to eke out 30 players or so at each of the three locals or districts tournaments hosted in MN every month.

The restrictions are in place just because the host is a jerk, you can't blame that on all of Minnesota. ;) That host does wonder, however, why you even need Redemption at your Redemption tournaments if playing T- and M-rated games is what makes or breaks the experience for you. :P

I'm not sure where you get your information from, but I am not hosting this tournament.

@EmJay: I'm not really trying to throw you in a bad light I just think it would stinx if a tournament with people such as Pol,Me,Kirk, and Daniel (SS) had to be restricted.
And I love my nazi zembers
so nothing personal
