Both of my grandfathers are veterans, the one on my dad's side (who I am named for) fought under Patton during the Battle of the Bulge, and won the Congressional Medal of Honor for his efforts (link, was written before he was awarded the Medal of Honor. (http://www.wwiimemorial.com/registry/search/pframe.asp?HonoreeID=341911&popcount=5&tcount=10)). My grandfather on my mother's side was too young to fight in World War II, but still served after the war in the Navy.
Both have passed on to be with the Lord, but I still wanted to remember their efforts. Does anyone else have veterans in their family?
