Ok those of you with time, here is your assignment...my old college computer kicked the bucket last month and Gretel needs a new computer to play a certain MMO that we cannot discuss..but that's not the point. Here are the pieces I have found so far...can you do cheaper for the same quality?... Appreciate all responses ;D Depending on how much you can save me, I might be able to send a random TeP card to the best build :o
I think I have found the best package I can come up with..let me know your thoughts...
AMD Version

After a quick lookover, I see that:
1. The case is 8 inches wide(roughly 20.32cm) and the card is 22.9cm wide I am not sure the 250 will fit in your case.
2. If the system is specifically going to support a single game, you may want to find out if that game takes advantage of multiple cores, and how many. IF it only uses 2 cores, then getting a quad core may be a waste when you get a duo core save some cash and get better performance.
If I have time I will add more later, And possibly a build for you to consider.
How much is the Windows 7 Student Upgrade? I am not finding it on new egg are you getting it online?

Another suggestion from the peanut gallery:
Nowadays, if this MMO that shall not be named is one that I have played recently, most of the game manufacturers are giving specs based on Radeon cards and capabilities. If you have something against Radeon cards, then I understand, but if not it may not hurt to consider looking into a radeon build.
Were you planning on enabling the SLI, or just running a solo card?
-
Basic performance, running one solo card. I am not "against" Radeon per se, matter of fact Tom's Hardware forum recommend I use it...my old computer was AMD and Radeon...but so long as I can still maintain a strong performance...Feel free to use a Radeon/AMD build...thanks!

Made an AMD version too, especially after seeing performance benchmarks...thoughts?

You might want to check www.tigerdirect.com (http://www.tigerdirect.com) as well.

I tried tiger direct, didn't like the products they were showing...didn't have everything I was looking for...
