Anyone heard of quibids.com?  It is an auction site.  It is very different from eBay but I have been using it for a little over a week.  I've only bought one item so far but I think the site has a lot of potential for great deals.  However, I also have noticed that there is a high potential for money to quickly be thrown away.  If you want to use this site, I highly recommend keeping your bidding to items you are willing to pay full price for.  The deals are many but there are also many who lose big because they bid foolishly.

If anyone thinks they might be interested in signing up, send me a PM with your e-mail.  There is a promotion for current users who bring in more users.
May you prosper greatly!

Nice, but dangerous.  Look at all the money you spend if you lose.

If this is the same place that was talked about on the boards a long time ago, you never end up paying more than the full price of the item (even if you lose).

Right, the way it works is if you lose you can pay whatever it would be to purchase the item at full price minus how much you'd already bid. - So I reccomend using it for things that you are willing to buy at full price, and then attempt to get them at a discount.

Which (for me) is pretty rare.  I doubt all these bidders will end up buying the item at full price.
