Explosions in the Sky

I got some CDs over the weekend, by the instrumental rock band Explosions in the Sky. I recommend checking it out, it's some great stuff to just listen to in the background, well done and relaxing. I've brought it to "soundtrack at work" status after Pandora said I listened to it for too many hours this month.

Cue Daniel or Colin saying that they've performed in their bedroom or something.

I second Tim's recommendation.  I found them over the summer, great stuff.
May you prosper greatly!

I was expecting something more interesting like, some story that a nuke was tested miles away, and you could see it, or something with actual explosions in the sky.

I kid.  :D

Hey, I had to get people to read it somehow. "Check out this band" wouldn't do it, but explosions?!
