Okay, so my family decided to host an exchange student this year, because so few families are willing to do this program right now, and since our home is pretty empty with my sister gone, we somehow actually ended up with two. :P Jonas is from Germany, and he will be staying with us all year, and Jack is from China, and we'll have him for at least a few weeks, possibly the whole year if it works out (or if they can't find another family to house him). We've already had Jonas for a day, and Jack just got here from the airport. Both of them seem really nice, and I would be thrilled if we end up keeping them both. ;D
Maybe I should have put this in the prayer forum, but it's really more news than anything (although I would appreciate your prayers for our family that this proves to be a positive experience for all of us). This is really exciting, and I hope both Jack and Jonas like it here! :)

That's cool. Maybe you are the key in starting an international tournament

Teach them redemption so that I can come up to your tournaments and make them cry with my TGT deck :)

Make sure to feed and water them every day. Always make sure they're up on their shots in case they bite anyone. Make sure to keep ID badges on their collars in case they run away. Clean out their cage on a regular basis.
EDIT: I was tired when I wrote that... fixed some spelling errors.

Don't forget to treat them with good behavior, and walk them daily.

They both like Dominion! Redemption is a little harder to teach, but once they get used to Dominion I'll swing it by them. That is, depending on how much time we all have with school starting today for them and Wednesday for me.

My family had a Japanese exchange student live with us several years ago. It's a pretty neat experience, since you learn a lot about their culture.
-
Introduce them to others while they're young so they don't get old and aggressive.
Make sure they each get their own kennel.

I've always wanted to do something like that (host or be one). I've got a friend who went to Japan, and he loved it. My aunt and uncle are hosting a Chinese student (so she can help their adopted Chinese daughter with her Chinese.)

I've always wanted to do something like that ...
Do it! Hosting an exchange student is a great opportunity to serve, as well as to learn about another culture (and even make a friend). :)

I think you should pray about it but it sounds like it would be a great opportunity.
