Post by: The Schaef on July 19, 2010, 08:08:16 PM: For the time being, I cannot disable thumb-downing in this version, but I can disable all display of accumulated plus-minusing per user, so stockpiling thumbs will be of no use. Also, you can un-up and un-down a post you thumbed, but you can only up a post one time, you can't up it like ten times to build up thumbs that way.

Normally, a sufficiently-downed post will be hidden eventually, but the user can go into the Look and Layout part of the profile, and select whether to hide the post, grey it out, or just show it as normal.

If I find the downing to hide posts is being abused, I will disable the entire function until we can upgrade to software that will allow me to disable all downing.

*EDIT* Seriously? A negative 1 for me and Prof Alstand for wanting to use the same system that someone is popping us with? On top of that, it would hide our posts so we couldn't get it. On another note, awesome in screen edit system.
