Hey guys, I've recently started getting more use out of my beloved iPod classic, and I've decided I want some more games for it. Can anyone reccomend anything? I already have iQuiz, Klondike, Phase, and Vortex. Any other ideas? Remember that games for the iPhone or iTouch won't work on it.
-
They still make iPod games not for iPhone OS?
IMO, you have the best games. I also like the Tiger Woods one.

i'v got nothing cause i don't play games on it.
but if ya have a NES and want a reccomendation then i suggest getting teenage mutant ninja turtles 2: the arcade game, if ya have SNES then i reccomend getting Super Metroid, if N64 then Zelda: ocarina of time, if gamecube then F-Zero GX, if xbox then star wars battle front 2 and the lego star wars games, if playstation 2 then i'll have to suggest guitar hero 4 world tour technically i only play past generation games cause current generation are too expensive for me to get

Holy Off Topic batman!
I have a classic and would love some good games (with torrents for them)
-
You can't torrent them, as unique Apple Store DRM is required for the files to work.
The only one I've played (aside from the stock games) is PacMan. It is hard to play it on the clickwheel.
-
Yes and no. The 5G Video has the ability to copy cracked games to it. The classic and those after don't allow it.
-
wah...the firmware doesn't work?
-
firmware or games? The games are just game files. The firmware can be downloaded from iTunes from Check for Updates.
-
My understanding was that now that iTunes no longer uses DRM files for music and videoes, the games no longer required it.
-
well I think their RAR files therefor:
Step 1: Extract the RAR file from the torrent.
Step 2: Plug in your iPod. Make sure it is enabled for disk use, and the "Do Not Disconnect" logo is flashing.
Step 3: Open up your iPod in "My Computer". Enable hidden files and folders in "Folder Options".
Step 4: Open up the "iPod_Control" folder.
Step 5: Paste the "Games_RO" folder into the "iPod_Control" folder.
Step 6: Open up iPodWizard (it's a standalone file, no need to install)
Step 7: Change the edit mode to "Firmware File".
Step 8: Click "Open Firmware" and choose either "5g Firmware.bin" or "5.5g Firmware.bin" based on weather you have a 5g or a 5.5g iPod. If you choose the wrong one, you will have to boot into disk mode and restore your iPod.
Step 9: Click "Write to iPod"
Step 10: Follow the instructions on the screen. Eject the iPod when it is done.
Step 11: Reset your iPod by holding in the center button and play/pause button until the apple logo appears

That wasn't on topic at all.
Next time you post a thread about Jesus, I am going to go on about Mohammed.
It's on topic, Mohammed mentioned Jesus plenty of times.

Only music is DRM-free, and only some of it at that. Video, audiobooks, games, etc, are all still DRM'd.
