I don't know there are soooooooo many good verses
One that is a sharp reminder - James 1:26
Chapter: Philippians 2
Book: proverbs and then probably Matthew
Favorite character other than Jesus: David or paul
-
Those are all great!! ;D
-
Favorite verse: II Corinthians 2:14-15 - Definitely a good reminder for how to live my life
Favorite chapter: Isaiah 58 - Contains my life mission statement in verses 6-11, God has called me to do so much to be Him to children and teens
Favorite book: Philippians - So much good stuff in this book, James takes a close 2nd

Awesome!

Favorite verse: There are two: Phillipians 4:13 is my own favorite but the second is meaningful to me through marriage to my wife: Phillippians 4:8. I almost lost my wife twice due to impurities in my life but this verse kept me where God wanted me and helped turn those things in my life around. Also, when I proposed to my wife, I put her ring on that verse.
Favorite book: Phillippians for reasons mentioned above
Favorite chapter: Phillippians 4 and John 3- due to the call of the most important decision of our lives....Salvation through Christ!

Verse:Ephesians 2:8
Chapter: Romans 8
Book: Song of Solomon.

Verse = Romans 8:28
Super encouraging verse that tells about God's character and about our circumstances.
Chapter = Matthew 5
The Sermon on the Mount is just so practical and yet also so all-encompassing. And there's stuff in there that will step on everyone's toes at least once.
Book = Phillipians
Agree with all the people above me in the thread.

Awesome! I love Matthew chapter five to its a great reminder of the knowledge of Jesus and what we should be doing with our life and yes the decision to follow Christ is the most important choice that anyone can make

Verse: Deuteronomy 32:39 (Job 5:18-20 comes in second.)
I really enjoy dialectical theology, and this verse is closely related.
Chapter: Romans 9
Seven point calvinist baby
(lol jk it's Matthew 25 because the parable of ten virgins is my favorite parable, and the sheep/goats is a pretty good message)
Book: James

Although, I am a fan of Job 30:29 (KJV only) and Judges 15:16 (NIV only)

Though I have no one favorite verse, 2 Timothy 2:4 reminds us not to be consumed with getting that dream job or get obsessed with politics.
For chapters, though I don't have just one, a chapter I enjoy reading is Psalms 119. Though it's the longest one, it reads so smoothly and is quite beautiful.
For book, there are too many books that are relevant to me to choose just one.
