OK so I'm struggling with somewhat of a simple topic that doesn't really need discussion but concerning how different i think compared to other Christians, how EXACTLY can one study the bible? sure the bible has rules and such to study but how do we really study the bible? why I'm asking is cause it's difficult to grasp how because i see the bible as not just a history book but also like any other book that has some kind of story involving characters and there be some plot involved. and journalizing, I've heard and read what's involved but not memorized it, but, my main problem with this topic is, i don't know how to apply each step in journalizing into my life and also practice it. i post this topic to get a clear view of things so other Christians who are struggling with the topics can get more in depth of their walk with God

The point of journaling is to put your thoughts on paper. This helps you to have clear and defined thoughts rather than ones that are scattered or mixed up. It also allows you to go deeper into one particular thought or group of thoughts as well as look back on what you wrote down at a later date.

Of course the most important aspect of Bible studying is your relationship with God and the work of the Spirit to bring the Word of God alive in you. It seems that you already have that foundation.
As far as practical steps to take, their are many. One of the best imo is to simply start doing it with other experienced followers of Christ. You could even do that on here. It is harder to explain the ideas in an abstract way than it is to show it.
