For all of u who have TexP sets(like i dont :'( ) i would like you to post what u think is the best/most game changing card in TexP.
please include card (with SA) .
And why u think it is the best/most game changing.

High Places is indeed very good, but I really don't think it compares to Grapes of Wrath; I mean, you have to admit that card is awesomeness to the max. :P

Nebuchadnezzar would come in third perhaps...or maybe The Gates of Hell.

No. You don't understand how ridiculously awesome that card is, you really don't. It's possibly the single most versatile card in your entire Genesis offense if you choose to include it.

It's actually a bit lower than that, but I intentionally did not post 2-3 cards better in order to avoid publicizing some evil combos I have planned.

Grapes of Wrath and Mayhem really aren't that game changing IMO. I guess I'm in the minority there.

Both of them can screw up something that the oppenent thought was good. Mayhem can disrupt your oppenents hand(espically if they're trying to get a combo out) and will let you get a better hand. Grapes of wrath is an instant block and there's nothing anyone can do about it =)

It's great, but not the best, because of how situational it is. It's essential nothing more than an easier T2 CTB counter.

Nebby is high on my list; he goes AMAZINGLY with nathan.  Attack with him and shuffle nergal w horses in territory.  Next turn if they attack, block with him and use UN to get nergz back, place horses on him and play something MEAN!

How many of these cads have been spoiled?  I have yet to see any info on astrologers, Well Reopened, Leah, and some of the others?  What do they do?

I'm a big fan of the Kir reprint, but I'm biased because it was my suggestion.  It also works if you're forced to use an opponent's EC in a side battle.

My favorite card in the new set is Mayhem.  It's so amazing in so many situations.

How does enchanter have/use three brigades? He is only one brigade and he can't use any others.

I have wanted Site-guard and similar cards to be worth playing for a while, so High Places is probably my single favorite card.

I also like all the gold defense cards, because I collaborated highly with Bryon to mix my withdrawal with his capture and deck discard, and I have an inflated sense of self-importance.

I also like the Arts and Forts in this set because it's pretty clear that most of them were designed to work with a specific strategy (e.g. High Places with orange and/or pale demons, Water Jar with gold fishing decks, etc), but are very versatile and make a nice splash in a lot of other decks as well.

1. Mayhem -- "Lost soul generation is very important in Redemption"
2. Dairus' Decree -- "Stops set-asides, Jacob, ET, Good Territory Ehancements, Weapon class enhancements, Hidden Treasures"
3. Gomer -- "Brown CBN banding, play Gib Trick while banding to a FbtN character or character with D2-playnext. Or play Haman's Plot"
4. Samaritan Water Jar -- "From a Type-2 standpoint, this card is great. Set aside 9 cards, wow."
5. Nebuchadnezzar -- "Also from a type-2 standpoint, it's a great card. Can search for any Crimson OT enhancement, CBN, and can add to battle."

Just my opinion. Gates of Hell is nice, as is High Places, but I think a defense based around it would not work consistently enough for it to be able to win a higher up tournament.

As alex said, that is incorrect. No good enhancements may be played from hand until an EC is in battle. Simple. No EC is in battle, so how can you play a good enhancement from your hand when DD clearly says you cannot?

Unless I'm not remembering right... Darius' Decree - "Opponent may not play good enhancements unless in battle. You may discard DD to discard all of opponent's heroes in set aside areas." I think that's how it works... Jacob and ET are in battle.

EDIT: Ah... I thought it said that the hero has to be in battle, not the ec.

Also, I just remembered this card I made BEFORE I saw any TexP cards. I showed someone who knew the cards and they went.... "uhh.... just... wait till you see the new set"
