Title: Best superbowl plays
Post by: TheKarazyvicePresidentRR on February 01, 2009, 09:22:47 PM
Did anyone else catch the linebacker catching the ball and running 100 yards for a touchdown? That was awesome! poor guy was down for 2 mins then got oxygen cuz he wasn't used to that kinda running.

I saw that. Mind telling me the score, though? After that sick play I ended up throwing my TV out the window, about 35 foot drop.

The Cardinals are disappointing me, how many yards have they given up that should have been prevented? 200, 300?

Best superbowl play: Born to Run.

(Actually I didn't end up watching it, I'm just going under the assumption that he played Born to Run.)

Like he had any choice in the matter.

It was a really long half time show. Springsteen played 10th Avenue Freeze Out, Born to Run, Working on a Dream, Glory Days, Johnny 99, Youngstown, American Skin, and Reason to Believe.

Nice. I'm going to see him in Atlanta for the second time.

Guess which half of that program didn't actually make the half time show.

Hey,

I think he was a Defensive End not a linebacker.

Naw, Harrison is a line backer. He was just standing near the line because Arizona was so close to the goal line.

Due to Pittsburgh's 3-4 scheme, Harrison often lines up near the line of scrimmage.

How nobody tackled Harrison is a mystery to me.  That was the single longest 100-yard dash in the history of the NFL.  I think it took like 3 minutes.

Holmes' last TD catch was textbook but I'm not sure it was the most awesome catch of the night.  It was just classic see-ball-get-ball.  There were a couple that I thought were amazing at the time but it's all a blur to me the next day.

Kurt Warner getting the man of the year trophy is well over due...and it being the only trophy he hoisted all night was perfect too!
