Hey, all,

I wish I could say I'm back in the game, but at this time, I just don't have the time or the players to start a playgroup. I'm just stopping by, because Kevin (not sure his board name anymore) told me some were asking about me. Since I last posted, my wife and I have had 2 children (both boys), the oldest of which is going to be 3 in September. I'm also now a pastor in Greensboro, NC, but I still live in Lexington. If you check in, This is my board name now (this is Kevin BTW). I also think you mistyped, you said "not a Pastor in Greensboro" I think you meant Now. It was great talking with you last night. I hope you and the family continue to do well and I promise to stay in better contact in the future.

All...thanks for the welcome back! I'll try to stay in touch better. If a tourney gets close to me, I'll probably try to jump in. We'll just have to see if old-school will still work...lol.

Glad you and your family are multiplying!! Hope all is well with the pastorate!

Let me know when/if you wanna go to any southern tourneys and we can carpool!
The boyz and I made the NC tourneys this year that Cannadays hosted and I'm hoping they will host more after the new set releases.

It's a small church just inside the McLeansville line on Clapp Farms Road (between Mt. Hope Church Road and McConnell Road) called New Life Worship Center. It used to be Mt. Hope Pentecostal Holiness Church. Do you still live in Greensboro? If so, are there any playgroups close?

No, I'm not. I'm now a youth pastor in New York. I know where all those roads are, and I lived and went to church not far from there. I lived on Mt. Hope for a long time, and played baseball at Mt. Hope ball fields...so that is definitely even closer to where I grew up.
In fact, you probably don't remember me. However, when you held the Regional in Lexington, I was in town from Cincinnati at the same time visiting family. It was my 2nd tournament ever. I appreciated you and Eric welcoming me and giving me pointers early in my Redemption "career."
As for players or playgroups, I know there was a group in Kernersville for a while/at one time at the big CMA church. My brother plays me occasionally online. Outside of that, I don't know of much Redemption action in NC.

Does your brother live close? If so, maybe I could catch a game or two with him on occasion.
