What is the name for those spiky things that pop your car tires if you drive the wrong way?

Reasons one would need to know:
1. Somebody hit one.

It does. I generally just do Stepmania and so I haven't heard that announcer in a while, but the phrase sticks in my mind like a spike strip.

I'm actually making a little game where you drive a car around and try to get to a goal, avoiding various obstacles (novel, I know), and one obstacle I wanted was a spike strip, but I couldn't remember what it was called.

LOL, nice. that phrase just clicked in my head yesterday...i fondly remember years ago the announcer saying that over and over to the point of annoyance. ah, nostalgia. :)
